Contractual Models

The Time and Material model is suggested for complex projects with variable scope, requirements, resources and planning. In such a contractual model, changes are frequent over the period of engagement and both parties agree to predefined unit rates for each category of resources involved in a project. The contract can grow in value over the period it is in effect. This model provides flexibility to clients to manage human and capital resources efficiently. The team size can be adjusted according to the scheduled project phases and feature release. Regular analysis, monitoring and progress reports allow greater visibility and control over the project development by the client.

Fixed-price Contract Projects (Scope Approach)

This model is suitable for projects that have a clear, fixed scope with a few unknowns. Once the project scope and a timeline are defined agreed on and signed-off, a fixed price is applied and the development process is ready to be kicked-off. A close relation is maintained with the customer to assure that the process is going in the right direction and that the deliverable meet customer's expectations.
